3 Expert Betting Tips For Keeneland Race Course 

Race 5 ~ Maiden Special Weight 79K

1 Mile on Turf

Race 6 ~ Maiden Claiming 30000

1 1/16 Miles on Dirt

8 horses are scheduled to break out of the starting gate in this race.  Trainer Ben Colebrook has #5 Winning Prospect ready to go in this contest.  This 4 year old colt is dropping for the first time out of the MSW ranks.

This guy first ran at Santa Anita last June.  He caught a Bob Baffert giant that day and didn’t show much.  He showed up earlier in the meet at Keeneland running in protected company against maidens.  He was well beaten off that layoff.

Dropping in class might be what this guy needs to wake him up and see what kind of running the son of Empire Maker can do.

#7 Excursion is another horse dropping and is second off the layoff.  Graham Motion saddles this one though. #7 Excursion Is making his 6th career start.  This gelding looks like he will enjoy a nice stalking trip.

He will have the opportunity to sit nicely off the speed and get a jump on the closers in this race.  Going a 1 1/16 the speed and stalking horses have the advantage with the short stretch at Keeneland.
