Race 3 has 6 turf runners that will sign on for this contest. There is one main track only entry, but let’s hope this race stays on the lawn.

This race is pretty competitive and you can go in many directions. Our top selection is # 5 Dixieincandyland. Joel Rosario gets the mount for the Eddie Kenneally barn. This horse is a late running sprinter. At this distance she has run eleven times and has hit the board 9 times. 3 times each for win, place, and show.

Sprinting is what this horse does. Rosario has been aboard this mare before and won. This race looks like it will have a quick pace so we look for Joel to run down these speedy gals late and pick up the W.

Race 4 ~ Alw 81000N1X

4 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt

Race 4 is a two year old sprint. These races are usually filled with first time starters, but today there are two horses that have experience. The #2B Baytown Frosty and the #9 Offaly Fast they both have 3rd place finishes in their initial race.

Two year olds with experience is a great angle in horse racing. But, Wesley Ward starting a two year old at Keeneland is a tremendous angle. He enters two horses today in this race.

#4 Golden Bell with Johnny V is his first entry and #7 Overbore with Joel Rosario is on the other. According to the DRF, Wesley Ward is winning at a 46% clip in the past 5 years at Keeneland with juvenile debut runners (25 for 54).

The Wesley Ward barn is 25 for 54 in these types of races with many of theses races with multiple entries. If they only started one horse per race those numbers would be even more incredible.
