3 Expert Betting Tips For Keeneland Race Course

Race 6 ~ Claiming 50000

1 1/16 Miles on Dirt

#1 Speightful Charge will be making his 2021 debut. She was last seen at Turfway Park on New Year’s Eve finishing 9th. She didn’t appear to like that synthetic surface and trainer Phil Sims gave her time off.

She ran the best at Keeneland last October and and Churchill Downs in November on dirt breaking her maiden at Churchill and finishing a nice 2nd at Keeneland. Both of these races had today’s jockey Tyler Gaffalione aboard.

She has a top pilot, tactical speed and looks like dirt is her preferred surface.

Race 7 ~ Allowance 83K

1 3/16 Miles on Turf

#2 Bakers Bay is making his second start this year and this horse is a play back. This gelding ran in a pretty tough allowance race off the bench earlier this meet. We liked him earlier this meet (see race replay below) This guy looks like he should be able to sit a nice trip and he should be able to handle this 1 3/16 mile distance. This race comes up softer than his last race.

#5 Ocean Atlantique is another play back horse for us here at HorseRacingPlayersClub.com. We selected this colt along with the eventual winner #7 Fighting Seabee on April 8. Fighting Seabee won at 17/1 and we hit the daily double that we gave out. Read what we said about that race here.

This euro invader is now making its second start off the layoff and probably needed that last race as a “tune up”. This colt has ability and some back class. This field looks to be a softer spot than what he faced earlier in the meet.
